Your learning stays on your iPhone

Key Rally is provided by Divine Inside LLC. Your learning progress, practice streak and preferences are stored locally. We do not operate a server for the app, require an account, or include advertising, tracking or analytics.

Optional voice practice

Voice practice uses the microphone only when you choose to listen and grant permission. On iOS 26 and later, Japanese speech is recognized on your device using Apple speech models. Models may need to download before use. On iOS 17–25, recognition runs on your device when supported; otherwise audio is sent to Apple for speech recognition. Apple's speech services are governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive or store your microphone audio or speech transcripts.

Purchases

Apple handles payment for the optional Full Hiragana Course. The app reads verified purchase information to unlock the course and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment card details. Your unlock status is stored locally.

Your choices

Keyboard practice does not need microphone access. You can revoke microphone and speech permissions in iPhone Settings. Reset learning progress in the app's Settings, or delete the app to remove its local data. Apple purchase records and any device backups are managed separately by Apple.

Support and deletion requests

If you contact us for help, we use the information you choose to provide to respond and keep it only as long as needed to handle your request. Contact support to request deletion of support correspondence we control. GitHub support issues are public and are also governed by GitHub’s privacy policy. Please do not post recordings, payment information or other sensitive details.
